MONDAYS: STEP VA Studio - 3328 Bourbon St.

• SASS Class: 5-7PM (ages 13-21) | $60 per 2-week topical workshop! Or purchase full series: Sept 9, 16, 23, 30, Oct 7, 14, 21, 28 for $225 (discounted!)
  • Social Communication: Sept 9th &16th. Using various technologies to connect with friends outside of meetup times.
  • Leisure: Sept 23rd & 30th. Exploring and selecting activities independently to fill free/down time.
  • Safety: Oct 7th & 14th. Community and home safety.
  • Social Outing: Oct 21 & 28th. Independent planning and engagement in a social dinner outing

• Yoga Session #2: 11-12PM (ages 13+) | $75 held Sept 24, Oct 1, 8, 15, 22, 29
• Yoga Session #3: 11-12PM (ages 13+) | $62.50 held Nov 12, 19, Dec 3, 10, 17

• Life Skills: 1-2:30PM (ages 18+) | $125, 6 week class series | September 10, 17, 24, Oct 1, 8, 15
  • Professional skills and aspirations, money sense (shopping with a budget), and other independent life skills!

TUESDAYS: STEP VA Studio - 3328 Bourbon St.

• Creative Writing: Tuesdays 12-1:30 (ages 12+) | $100 5 week series | Oct. 22, 29, Nov 5, 12, 19
  
  • A daytime class series over lunch*! Objective: Build self confidence & use creative thinking, while writing stories in a variety of ways! Skills: Writing, language & vocabulary development, cognitive skills, self expression, social interaction/teamwork. As STEP VA adapts to the needs and strengths of the students, we do not require a student to know how to read, write, etc. We will create stories in many creative ways using various prompts and styles! There will be individual work, as well as team storytelling and collaborating. *lunch is not included, please bring your own!

THURSDAYS: Held at Riverside First Church of God, 3461 Fall Hill Ave, Fredericksburg, VA 22401

Note: Musical Theater & ASL finishes (Oct 3) before Around the World begins (Oct 10). They do not conflict! Those signed up for Drumming are welcome to take this as well as other Thursday options. All are 1 hr classes, and we offer two time slots to fit your schedule best!

• Beginning, Drumming 4 Every 1: 6-7PM (ages 10+) | $150 (check w/Jan), 10 week series | Sept 5, 12, 19, Oct 3, 10, 17, 24, Nov 7, 14, 21
• Advanced, Drumming 4 Every 1: 7-8PM (ages 10+) | $150 (check w/Jan), 10 week series | Sept 5, 12, 19, Oct 3, 10, 17, 24, Nov 7, 14, 21.
  • Prior class required for advanced class
• Musical Theater & ASL: 6-7PM and 7-8PM options (ages 13+) | $75 for 4-week session | Sept 5, 12, 19, Oct 3
  
  • ASL taught by Deaf educator, Mary Rose, and Musical Theater taught by our STEP VA teachers!
• Around the World: 6-7PM and 7-8PM options (ages 13+) | $90, 6 week series | Oct 10, 17, 24, Nov 7, 14, 21
  
  • Join us for a 6-week workshop for ages 13+ exploring different creative arts themes taught by different STEP VA guest teachers each week! Some topics include (but not limited to) improv, acting, song lyrics & storytelling, plus more!
• Sensory, Science, and Silliness: 5:30-6:30PM (ages 6-10) | $60 for 4 week session | Oct 10, 17, 24, Nov 7
  
  • In this class you will execute science experiments & put together some fun sensory projects to take home & share with your family.

SATURDAYS: STEP VA Studio - 3328 Bourbon St.

• Music & Movement: 9-10 AM (ages 5-7) | $60 class: Sept. 14, 21, 28, Oct 5
• Sensory Social: 10-11AM (two age groups offered) | $15, September 21st only!
  
  • ROOM #1: AGES 3-5 Sensory Exploration (exploring our senses!)
  • ROOM #2: AGES 6-9 Sensory meets science (exploring simple sensory science experiments!)
